B. Command Lines

In this Appendix we briefly discuss the key command line switches for L^ATEX2HTML and DVIPDFM. For more detailed tips on how to effectively section and format the HTML version, please see the document Tips on Document Formatting with L^ATEX2HTML [1].

 

• For L^ATEX2HTML:
  • If you are using EPS graphics then the -white option is a good idea otherwise the converted GIFs can have a strange background colour.
  • The -show_section_numbers is needed to preserve section numbering in the HTML version.
• For DVIPDFM, -p a4 is useful to set a4 papersize. This is really the only option needed for DVIPDFM.
