B. Command Lines

In this Appendix we briefly discuss the key command line switches for LATEX2HTML and DVIPDFM. For more detailed tips on how to effectively section and format the HTML version, please see the document Tips on Document Formatting with LATEX2HTML [1].

 

  • For LATEX2HTML:
    • If you are using EPS graphics then the -white option is a good idea otherwise the converted GIFs can have a strange background colour.
    • The -show_section_numbers is needed to preserve section numbering in the HTML version.
  • For DVIPDFM, -p a4 is useful to set a4 papersize. This is really the only option needed for DVIPDFM.
